Thought I'd start a new thread rather than risk hijacking the "sighting" thread...

Poll question: Are you interested in having Maverick/Comet Forum business cards?

I'm a 20-yr veteran graphic designer and would be glad to design the cards.

I'm thinking of creating a MS Word file (based on an Avery business card template) that you could personalize with your name/contact info and print yourself.

Or, I could design a non-personalized card and post it to an online printing company. That way anyone could order them anytime in any amount.

    Your thoughts ???

There's already a template made, i carry these cards all the time :)

I hand them out to mav/comet owners i meet, also i leave them on cars at the junkyard.

The Template is a ".doc" file that opens with Microsoft Word.

If you have an Apple, i would assume it will not work.

The actual cards cost $4(for 100) at any office max, staples, walmarts. Then you just print them out.

The ones i use are the ones with an American flag in the background.
I ran out, but i know i have at least one somewhere :hmmm:

The template looks OK. Kinda plain, but I understand we are going for free here. If a graphics designer wants to make some flashy ones, I'm all for it. Im sure we can have a few different styles.

It's plain because the actual card stock has the design, Avery makes a bunch of different kinds, the one i went was the one with an American flag as the background.

That template i posted is like 3 years old...

    for sure :thumbs2:

Lol im getting all frustrated because i cant find any of the ones i made using the American flag background.

And you guys will never get the picture unless you actually see them.
They turned out great for me.

Cant wait to see what our pro can do (y)
