    Hello,

As I put my 250 six with the 2bbl conversion, ZI need to know the measurements to cut the hood because of the height of the weber 2bbl and the adapter. the cylinder head is in the shop getting a valve job right now, so I can't measure with the cylinder and the weber carb in place. Is there anyone that has cut the hood up for this conversion? I need to know the measurements to cut the hole in the hood.

I would definitely, definitely wait until you have all the components.

Ditto, you only want to cut it once. Get the carb on, with the aircleaner stud screwed in, spray paint the bottom of the hood, then close the hood quickly and let the mark left by the stud in the fresh paint be your guide point. Drill a small hole from the bottomside, then work from it on top to mark your cut.
