Cut out the hole and "fill in the blank".

[IMG]Click on the camera icon under my name and info to the left for a few pictures.

I cut a "V" slot out of the center rib and bent it over to make a smooth transition to the vertical plate.

There are some good shots of others here who have done the same thing. They'll post up or you can use the SEARCH feature to see if you come up with something.

    Good luck.

Hey Rick, thanks for the pic. How high from the top of the a-arm, you think I should make the horizontal cut?

It's more of a "whatever looks like a good place to start" type thing and then go straight down with your cut (some even angle back a little but I don't think it's necessary).

You don't want to start the cut too close to the shock tower plates or go so low that you're into the A-arm structure.

You'll "just know" where to make the cuts when you get started.

    Good luck.
