I know there are countless threads on v8 motor mounts for maverick but I can't find exactly what I am looking for. I bought a maverick already converted from 6 cylinder to 302, but the whole thing was kind of done in rinky-dink fashion. I drove the thing all summer with the manifold hitting the steering gear box and top of the fan is well over the top of the radiator making me think the engine sits to high. Now that I am going to attempt to install a 4 speed I would like to make sure the motor is sitting right before I start fabricating clutch peices. So what I am looking for is pictures and/or measurements of both the frame mounts and motor mounts of each side so I know which of mine are right or wrong. Thanks for any help. Ps also looking for suggestions on headers that allow for clearance for clutch linkage.
