Right on, Ray!!!!! Glad you got it running. Sounds like your cam is close to the one I have in my Comet (I was looking at your tag). How are you coming on the rear window weather strip? Don't forget I have the radio bezel & rear package tray waiting for you when you come down in a couple of weeks. WooHoo!!...More parts......Bet your excited about your maiden run at the track.

    Coop. Back window is handled.
I'm at work right now and it's slooooow.
Gonna go gab the maverick and bring it down here to take care of the rear end.

Hey, Ray.....Right on! Let me know how it goes. Do you know anyone with a posi 8" pumpkin (center section) with 3.55 or 3.70 gears? I'm looking for a posi. I already have 3.55 gears, just not a posi or locker. You got me fired up for the upcoming Mini Meet. So, this is what I did today......Street sign! LOL What do you think? Will it work?

Those are getting pretty hard to come by Coop.
I was talking to the guy I got my extra gears from today and he said he has found a lot of the posi units in pinto wagons. Check your local boneyard. I heard some guy just sent a few comets over there. :)

Well Cliff I think my car has 11 second potential, but I don't expect to run any quicker than 13's or so my first time out. No slicks + never made a pass before= slow.
    :)

Mostly I'm just trying to track down a set of slicks. As far as spares, the car is a fully functional unit, so I'll be fine untill I break something at the track.
That reminds me. if the planets do fall into line and I end up in the 12's or 11's are they going to boot me for running stock seat belts? I know 11's require a roll bar, but are five points required for 12's? It's an NHRA track. Anyone have this years rulebook?

My book is a few years old...but it says stock belts are fine until you run 11.99 or quicker. I'm running low 12's with my stock belt and never had any trouble from anyone...
