I am forced to sell my maverick 4x4. I have had it for about 4 years. I realize this thread should be in the For Sale catagory but I want all to see it before I go to Ebay. It is a 70 maverick on a jeep cj7 frame . You can see it at photobucket.com Go to it and enter jofus1_photos under search. Then when it ask if you are looking for this user click on it. I have included one picture of what it looked like on the lot when I bought it. The rest are as it looks now. I don't want to sound like the old sob story, but I have had to sell all my eight mavericks due to downsizing employment situation . This the last to go. This car is a jeep cj7 frame, running gear, etc. 304 jeep motor 2v, 3 speed, headers ,side pipes. I replaced the amc 20 2 piece axles with aftermarket one piece axles last year. The motor is stock no frills. 4x4 works good. Frame up is 70 maverick grabber clone. Grabber sport mirrors,(not mustang, torino) stripe, rear spoiler, grabber hood, grabber seats front and back. Has cobra cb radio. Push bar too. Steer head on front has working halogens with rocker switch inside. This is functio.nal and removable .Recovered dash pad. Good paperwork, bill of sale to me from car lot. Never sent off for title, but all legal. It has some minor flaws:two tears in headliner, steering knuckle leaks fluid, may need alternator soon I think the battery I had in it was too small, seats have few aged cracks. Spoiler is cracked in two places. This is not concourse show quality, but is nice maverick/Jeep 4x4.Tires (30's I think) fair tread. Included is jeep console in trunk, I had plans of cutting this to fit never got to it. I need to get $3000 for it. I will take some less on serious offer. I live near Murphy, North Carolina. In corner of Ga. and Tenn. Easy to find on google or Yahoo map search. Email me with questions or stop by for look. This is a rare beast! Fun to drive and a heck of a headturner. Thanks everyone. Joe Fowler.

Looks good. I think someone could make a nice, different vehicle out of it. I'm sure there will be someone interested in it. Good luck.:)

I will not come as any surprise to those here who are familiar with my tastes in vehicles that I find your 4X4 Maverick to be one of the best looking, most awesome and singularly spectacular examples of a cool ride I have ever seen. I love it.
I very much wish you'd take payments so I could pimp that bad mother all over my county like a rockstar.

I'd really like to have this, but my funds are lacking at the moment. I've been looking for a 4x4 to take mudding and what better thing to have than a Maverick!
