My 73 Interior Upgrade

I think this came out pretty nice, what ya think? All the Seats recovered. I am satisfied with the interior paints I used on the doors and dash. Stereo is kicking, new rear deck pad, carpet........Kirk.......... I added a Before and After Picture Here ...Before April 2008-Now June 2010

 

wow. nice! what type of paint did you use? any sort of prep beforehand?

 

Ya lots of prep clean-up I really took my time cleaning all the panels ,and sanding with Scotch brite on Metal surfaces. The paint I went with for the lower dash and Doors was SEM #15173 Camel, The center Door Panels with Dearborn Classics Med Ginger. I just did a chunk at a time......Kirk

 

Now all you need is a new dash pad or a cover

 

Looks great. The seats really suit the year. They look era correct. Nice job.

 

I love it, makes me want to keep the ginger interior in my project Maverick.

 

Dash pad is Next just need a few more funds $$

What make and model stereo head unit is that?

 

The radio Is a KENWOOD kdc-mp538U It is a 2 knob Cd Receiver with a USB Interface, I-pod Ready ( you can see the cord hanning). RCa,MP3,Sat Ready,HD radio and remote. also Bluetooth Unit Ready 50Watts x4 Ya Welcome to 2000. It was the only thing that kind of retained a 2-Knob Look with all the Moderon Features.

Thanks for all the comments, I am trying to stick to Old School 70's Theme ,Trying to keep it like my Old High School Days, but minus the Big Tires and Long Shackels...
