My 77 Comet is being used in another short film called "Collapse". Never thought this car would ever be in another movie after being in "The Life Of David Gale"!

We were out in the country filming today and will be back at it tomorrow. Today I even drove the car for a couple inserts, which really thrilled me! Most likely they will even need a couple more shots at another location next weekend.

Here is a link with a short video and synopsis of the film: COLLAPSE

Also check out the producer's Storyboards of my Comet and the Actors

They posted this after coming to my place and couldn't decide which of my cars they would use: Garage Pics

I've now got a copy of the movie and will show 'Collapse' at the Roundup next week. Turned out pretty good!

Here's a little video I shot as they were coming back from one of the inside the car-while driving shots: Video

That made me laugh, film students, who raised donations of 738 to film this movie.. Just glad to see some mavericks on film even if its a student project! I love indie films.:bouncy:

Cool stuff to get the car featured.... a significant part of the plot, too.

I am confused. The description of the film is too ambiguous etc. in 1960 Texas. Driving a 77 Comet? It is a time traveller sci-fi flick?

Yes, you're right---I think they actually were looking for a mid 60's Cadillac, if you look at the storyboards on their fundraising website.

When I get home next week, I can post a link where they are promoting a copy of the film. (I don't have the link with me).
