1973 Mercury Comet. 4 door, 302, 3 speed column shift. One owner. belonged to a friend who died and his wife thought I should have it. was titled on my birthday in 1972 when bought new. Has 113,000 miles and purrs like a kitten. never been smoked in.

Thanks guys. I am from Southeast Missouri, a little town called Caruthersville. I owned a 1960 model Comet for my very first car AGES ago, LOL then had owned a 1976 Comet, 6cyl auto. Nice car but it got totaled. This car is a blast to drive and is a lot peppier than the 6 that I had before. Am going to join the club next week when I get time to fill out the application etc. Only so many hrs in a day. I enjoy the info here and have already purchased a couple things the car needed from members here. great bunch of guys and gals. Am looking forward to a lot of fun.
