Took a trip to Alabama this past weekend (12 hour drive) and bought a sweet 1976 Maverick! This car is awesome, it has only 14,000 miles on it, and is in amazing condition. It also has new mag rims & tires, but I received the original wheels and hubcaps as well. I managed to pick this up for $3,500! I’m really pumped and excited. My buddy and I loaded it on a car hauler in sunny, 55 degree weather, and had to unload it late last night in the snow and only 4 degrees, but it’s safe and sound in the garage now! The cool thing is, someday I want to convert this car to look like my first car, a black & silver Stallion. However, that will be down the road because funds are very tight right now. But this car is in such nice shape, I’ll get a lot of enjoyment from it right now, driving it around and maybe taking it to a few shows. The yellow color is not what I would pick, but it looks nice and that is all that matters. Perhaps this summer I’ll put the white one up for sale, which is also in really nice shape, because I can’t afford to keep two. I want to thank everyone who gave me advice on the car hauler; there were lots of great tips and I appreciate everyone's help. Art
Nice car. Where abouts in Alabama did you buy it? It may have been warm when you picked it up, but its not now! 13 this morning.
What a deal! Those TT2's/tires are probably $1000,so you got a practically new car for $2500.Nice ride.
