This was the car that started it all for me. I got it in 1991 when I was 15, it was an under a tree piece of junk for $100. We put a mexican block 302 out of a Montego in it and painted it(after installing plenty Bondo). The paint was six different left overbody shop blues mixed together. The rims were off a Ranger, the rocker panels were covered with 66 Barracuda trim to hide the rust, the bottom of the quarter panels were made of license plates. I raced it through high school and then left it when I came to college. There was a huge fire a few years later that burned everthing around it(including some very valuable Mopar) but left it standing, with shoe polish still marking up the windows. I visited it about 6-7 years ago. It is in Alaska. So, here was an email I received the other day. It is my car, I was a little speechless at first, but I am doing better now.

It will always have a special place in my heart.

Sounds pretty mean Sarah, glad they saved it. You have more than made up for letting it go.

Sounds tough ... looks like they were putting it away for its winter hibernation.
