I am trying to replace my powerbooster and master cylinder on my 76 Maverick. I can see three of the bolts attaching the booster to the firewall but the one closest to the ground on the passenger side seems to be covered by some metal cover. Can anyone give me some insight on how to remove this last bolt? I have attached an image of the booster and the metal covering the area where the 4th bolt should be. Thanks! image.jpeg image.jpeg

The entire booster and the bracket must be removed fromt the car. This requires the removal of the 4 nuts inside the car.

Thanks for the information. Finally got it off. That was fun. I am now officially a contortionist.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Maverick, a car that was designed in 10 minutes at Ford, with no forward thinking of it EVER being repaired. A disposable car.
