Need help

    70 Maverick 302 C4
    ive been trying to hook up the overdrive but an original 302 rod wont fit is their like a cable kit i could get or can i use one of those universal throttle cables on it?

    I assume you are using an AOD.
    Lokar makes a cable kit www.lokar.com. Summit, Jegs and all of the Hot Rod shops carry them.

    When you buy the Lokar cable be sure to get the brackets that you need too. I have heard from others that it doesn't always come with the bracket at the tranny end.
