After finally getting a glance at the interior of a mav, I now realize that I am missing some pieces that sit along the edge of the package tray on the sides along the back windshield. My back panels cut off right at the back of the back seat. I desperately need these panels, I am having the headlilner done and I think these missing parts might stall my progress. Please if anyone has these or knows where to get them please, please let me know.

    Anxiously waiting...

If you are unsure what panels I am talking about take a look at the post entitled "right hand drive maverick" and look at the pic showing the backseat, you will notice the plastic panels that are kinda boomrang shaped, thanks.

Jeri; those things are made of pot metal, and bolt in from under the package tray, in the trunk. I have mine out painting them now. If I run up on some this weekend, I will let you know. Later,

You have to take those out to put the headliner in anyway, so you don't need to rush. I think I have an extra pair, what color do you need? Also, some are plastic, some are metal. I think my extras are plastic. The plastic ones are easier to break the threaded rod off of when you are trying to remove them. :)

    Matt,

I need them in black preferably but almost anything will do. As far as plastic is concerned as long as they will go in without breakage that's all I am concerned. My panels are currently MIA and have been since I bought the car. Give me a quote on the ones you have with shipping (fastest available since the car is going in on Tuesday, unless I don't have to have them for install). My zip is 93534. Thanks man!

I am stripping a 76 so I will see what they look like as soon as I get home from work today. I've never seen plastic ones before. I thought they were all metal.

Thanks guys for looking, Corbin however was generous enought to sell me some off a 73 that he had. Thanks to everyone for their help. Mav/Com owners are the best.

The ones on my 76' Stallion are plastic too, and the tabs on the back are broken off both of them. We took a trip to a junkyard this weekend and found a pair of metal ones on 72' Maverick to replace mine with. They must have only come on the early Mavs. All the later Mavericks I have seen had the plastic ones.

Maybe I just never took them off the later cars. I'll have to check the 76 parts car.

These are interior parts. They are on either end of the rear package tray.

Just wanted to update you all on the mav and her new headliner! I just brought her home and it looks amazing. The headliner was purchased off Ebay via Mustang Market. It fits like a dream. The boomerang panels (plastic) that I got from Corbin went in perfectly and really finish the back interior. Thanks to everyone for your help with this project. I will try and take some pics and post them. Thanks again.
