Hello, Im in the process of buying a 76 comet right now:yahoo: . Im flying down to georgia thursday to pick it up. Just wanted to stop in and say hi. Im not sure of all my plans for the car yet but im tossing around the idea of a mustang 2 front and squeezing a 460 block in there. I may also keep the 302 and opt for a blow thru 302 turbo setup with the gt42 turbo i have here. Im sure you see me asking a lot of questions. This the first low tek car ive actually owned... not that im a stranger to them, ive just grown up on the 4.6 engine with my old crown vic and my 96 cougar that is in the middle of a 4v swap right now.

Welcome aboard! And we really appreciate the fact that you are reducing the Maverick/Comet population in Georgia. They have WAY too many. Post pics soon!!!

oh it would take some work to make that happen... if i did tho, id probly need the mustang 2 suspension and id have to get some C heads and a sullivan intake so i could carb it. ... hey that combo could net me 350hp easy with some head work. but i was thinking maybe ill save some cash and get a world manowar aluminum block... yeah that would only cost twice what i paid for the car, but it would be sweet, and light.

after todays attempt to get the 4v in my cougar, the comet will have to be a daily driver for a while i guess. I have an FZ6 i ride primarily in the nice weather tho so it wont see too much abuse.
