new extrerior door handles?

where can I get new exterior door handles for my 72 comet gt?

what other cars handles fit? mustangs of the same time period?
no I didnt look on ebay yet but I did thumb through autokrafters catalog and didnt see any handles

I just want some really clean new or nos handles with the hardware

good news. thanks. I didnt want to put custom after market handles on since this ones going to be a driver. some killer after marker custom handles for my other comet would be cool

 

make sure to buy the higher quality concours handles. the cheap ones are junk.

 

ring brothers mustang handles fit but they are expensive

Why doesn't anyone use the "Search" feature anymore? I just searched "Door Handles" and there are 19 pages on the subject. Just wondering....

 

I am putting those on my build. Should be on the car next week. You will have to use some of the existing parts from you current handles to make them work.

 

Let us know how they are, I hope they are not like Jaguar E Type door handles, where only a small child get their fingers between the handle and the door...

 

There is plenty of room. I just can't believe that for the money you don't get ever piece to install them out of the packaging.

 

Please update us on this. I was looking to order the powder coated ones in the next few weeks.

yes indeed or for the guy that has a little money saved up and these are one of the last things on the to do list.

I myself cant see paying that much for door handles that someone else has or can get. if they were a one off I could see paying a$3-$400

 

I saw the black ones and thought they would look cool on my car after it was painted, then I saw the price. Maybe I should just have mine powder coated, they would still look cool.

 

Trust me if I could find one offs I would get them for my particular build. I picked these because there are not allot of them out there on Mavericks. Sometimes it not about thr money, it's about the reason why.
