I have 2 new stock front coil spring saddles installed. When I released the new spring onto them, one suddenly broke the rubber grommet bond and leveled out perfectly. However, the other did not and is not perpendicular to the spring. Now the new shock broke at the saddle connection because the saddle is not "level" with the spring. Any ideas how to get the new saddle rubber grommet bond to break free?

Perfect example of where "roller spring" perches come in handy! Allows suspension to pivot freely and avoid what happened to one of your shocks!

The 60-63 Falcon/Comet came from the factory with brass bushing spring perches. In '64 the bean counters decided they knew more than the engineers who designed the suspension. I have early Falcon spring perches on my Maverick.
