Man I wish a Maverick site was around in '91 (or the computer I'm using now for that matter). Little background on myself. Bought a '71 Mav, excellent shape, new interior, just all around pefect. 2 years later I was hit by a drunk driver.[IMG] I was parked and he hit me from the back at 75mph.

Then bought a '70, did an engine transplant and drove it till the engine didn't wanna go no more. Unfortunately that car has been sitting for a while and I just don't have the money or resources to completely take apart and rebuild the car.

I'll be putting up some pics and selling the one I have now. I'll also be selling all the parts scavenged off of the totaled one.

I loved my Mavericks to death and I plan on having another one someday, but for now all the Mav stuff I have will be sold to make my Stang go faster.

Nope, no fire thank god. He hit right right on the drivers side taillight and the tank wasn't punctured. He tried to swerve at the last moment so it completely crumpled the rear qtr. and took out the drivers side door. I was standing on the sill of the drivers side door. I was lucky to not have my legs ripped off. I got very lucky and came out with NO broken bones. My left leg was very heavily bruised though and I had to use crutches for about 2 months. I pretty much stipped everything I could off of that car before we took it to the salvage yard. I still have all the parts in my dads attic.

AdRock, welcome to the board!!! I agree, find yourself another Maverick, they can still be picked up at a pretty good price, but they are getting more popular all the time. :)
