I have received some nice replies and interest ,and even a few orders to my new maverick grill emblem,but one of the members here suggested that my post might be seen more if it wasn't on the new members forum, and you may be correct.I have tried to copy and paste my long reply from the new members forum to the general maverick /comet discussion forum side but it won't copy and paste over to this forum or let me add pictures and im sure it's probably something i am not doing right, so all i know to say now to anyone who wants to view the new emblem idea is to look at the new members forum.I just want to add that the design artist is sending me the emblem artwork and some computer pictures of the proposed emblem mounted on some maverick images i sent him to see what the final product will look like mounted,so thanks for your help and i am doing everything i can on my side.thanks
Are you making the new Grill medalion,,? If you are do you have pics,,? I do know we are working with Ford Licensing on having them made up,,, If you have that issue solved,,,, Let me know we wont need to continue with that program,,, so far we have the chrome outer ring being made up,, the center Maverick with stear head we had to work with Ford on,,,:Handshake But if you have them being made,,,,That will be great and no need for us to step on any toes,,, Getting the parts out is the main Ghoal here,,,PM me if you can,,,, Thank you Joe

That would be sweet as well,,,, we are working with Ford on the Grill Medalion as a reproduction part,,, But I would like to see his Idea for a new style,,, might just be eye catching,,,
reply to factory style grill medallion I had mentioned that i am making a custom emblem but i am also in the works making the factory style center emblem also and that is the emblem that i am working with ford licensing to produce.The problem with ford is the upfront cost involved,even with making a emblem that is 30 years old,and you have to deal with ford in two ways. #1, I can present the prototype emblem to ford (that i have to first pay 3000.00 from my emblem manufacturer)then present the prototype to ford and they approve my manufactured prototype,then they fast track my emblem idea then they will demand a considerable royalty,which sucks because they haven't even lifted a finger except to say yes you can,then pick my pockets or choice number #2. I have to purchase a lesser priced licensing right from them which i have to pay annually and i mean pay, and they take their sweet time deciding when they will issue the licensing agreement.I am now on the scheduled list for a licensing hearing with their lawyer and have been since oct, 18 2007.I keep calling the control agent for ford and they assure me that they haven't forgotten me,but it feels like i am getting the cold shoulder,because it has been suggested not in so many words that they if i change my mind and wanted to go the royalty route that things might progress quite a bit faster.I have a plan though and am not giving up on this.
