New Maverick Man Project! Trunk with built in spoiler you say?

well i am finally starting to work on this. here are some sneak peak photos of it.

now who knows when i will get done with this because i have tons of other things i am working on..... but at least you can see the start of this which i might add gives out a trade secret i use. ;) either way the idea is to integrate the spoiler with the trunk and also to have just a slightly higher spoiler to it as well with out looking totally out of place and keeping to the original design.

suggestions? too bad already started on it. i have a special round suggestion box under my desk that is round for you. lol!

thanks! but someone was kind enough to send me one.

but the plan is flat OE hood first. i should have some done by end of summer at least.

Cowl next (this one is giving me a big pain in the next to be honest). lol!

trunk that you see here and comet scoop after that.

but just so people know that might be a one year lead time easy.

Just one little question... these gonna be compatible for a Comet? (joking of course)

I'm super excited at this prospect! I drool over a spoilered trunk.

    Trunk spoilers .. Design ??

    Hey Maverick Man:
I still have the set I bought from you YEARS AGO .. they didn't fit , they were too thin .. they "warped" after the paint was applied and the car got out into the sunshine.. From your photos the new and "improved" model you show look THICKER .. Good .. that may just make the difference . I finally located a set of Grabber fender extensions and another spoiler and after a little work they look great. Incidentally , if you make the " spoiler " taller .. don't forget to add the height to the "fender extensions" to match. I wish you well with your projects.

already ahead of you. they have to be added to the end otherwise they won't match. ;) and just you know this is a integrated spoiler to the trunk no 3 piece spoiler set up on this one.

no Soup for you. :p ;)

This will be a spoiler bulit on to the trunk lid. It will be one peice and the ends will also have the same swoop as the decklid.

Great idea. I thought about building one in steel and welding it to my deck lid. But I really don't want to go through all that fab work.

Looks to be a great project, good luck with it!

Get that deck lid/spoiler done soon!!! I need to buy one to match the carbon grabber hood...This will allow me to finalise the paint scheme I want to go with. A carbon deck lid/spoiler will really pull my paint concept together...Hurry Hurry Hurry!!!!

    Is it done yet!? :bouncy:
