    Greetings
    I have joined this site to learn about Maverick and Comet cars. I need and want something different from Mustangs. I have had my fill of them.
    My main interest is a 1932 Ford Roadster Hot Rod that I owned almost 50 years ago. I recently found it again and I have purchased it back. I was owner #4 in the early 60's and now I am owner #19 in 2011. The story is on the following web site.

    I saved a 89 roller motor from one of my Mustangs and I want something different to put it in like the Maverick or Comet. I also want a car that has side windows, a heater, windshield wipers, fenders, maybe air conditioning. Something that can be driven when the weather turns. My 32 is not that kind of a car.

    The Maverick and Comet are cars that are not seen everyday , at least in our area, (Ontario snow & rust) so hopefully I will be able to find what I want and with the help of this forum, I will be able to learn alot about these cars.

    You say you are from Ontario? You are in luck. The Maverick Comet Club International, Inc. (MCCI) will be holding their 19th Annual Roundup Nationals in Dearborn, Michigan this July 24-29. You will see lots and lots of Mavericks and Comets. You will have to plan and attend. More details can be found at www.MaverickCometClub.org
