new member new owner

    73 MAVERICK STANDARD 2dr 302 auto.
    hello fellow members and ladies to. for months I have been looking at this iste and wishing I had a mav to jion in the fun.

    Well today I bought my first mav. 73 2dr. 302 auto. 60k miles. ! owner little old lady that bought it new in sept. 73. Still had the old nylon tires on the front the oringinal spare tire in the trunk. All the paper work .

    Well I guess the fun will begin starting tomorrow.

    Welcome Buck! Can't wait to see the pictures. I bought my 72 Comet from the estate of lady from Fruitland Idaho. Still has the original bias ply tire in the trunk. Never been used. Great when these deals come along. Should be a lot of fun. :Welcome:

    Welcome Buck, Man these Mavericks and Comets are coming out of the woodwork aren't they..........mine came out of a barn ! Just when you thought they were all scrapped or raced up, you find another. :Welcome:

    I just wanted to let you know that the MCCI (Maverick Comet Club International) will be in Somerset this month at the Somernites Cruise. Not sure if you have met any of those guys/gals down there yet.
