Just got my new Popular Hot Rodding in the mail today. Nice article on Maverick Man's car, and some great pics! Congratulations Derrick!!!!!

Which Mag is next? You're hitting them all lately aren't 'ya! Fine example of a car though. Great job in keeping the Mav's & Comet's at the forefront.

Don't forget the Other maverick in the readers rides section, It's a "Cobra" inspired Maverick, I don't have the mag but i'm sure it is someone here who owns it. Or they are in MCCI

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
thanks guys. i really feel that this feature in Popular Hot Rodding will help get the maverick some more respect! i mean an all ford magazine is great! but with a cross manufactuer magazine it will help the maverick get some respect to all those high dollar must have a fuel injected LS2 Gen 1 or 2 camaro onwers and any high dollar car freakoids out there to open their eyes a bit!

Which Mag is next? i guess we will have to see. won't we.. :p nah the cars is so played out now.. i really need to start my next project.

yep thats Rays P's car! (y) but thats in Mustang and Fords magazine. i think people are getting mixed up :biglaugh: heres a picture the Popular Hot Rodding spread that Maxx Levell is talking about.

thats right this was taken in the rain! the pooring rain we had like two months ago. it would not stop!! anyway heres proof i drive the junker no matter what! this shoot look like 4 to 5 hours and more then half the time i was holding an umbrella over the photographer and his camera. i'll do anything for a feature i guess :coco:

the empty space on the top right had side was a pic of me.. i took it out.. i'm sure no one cares what i look like. :p

I told Mr. Yee this once but thought it pertained to all the hype his maverick is getting. Back in 92 I was all but ready to get rid of what I thought at the time was an ugly car. Then I saw Derrick's car in Super Ford Magazine. I was highly impressed and ceased my attempts to sell it and buy of all things a mustang:rolleyes:
Been a hardcore mavericker ever since(y)Hopefully his maverick and everybody elses changes some opinions. IT did mine.........

derrick it is official, i am insanely jealous and hate you. hahaha. i just got PHR yesterday and was impressed with the photos and article. your car definatly deserves the attention and it can only help our cause. congatulations. b.t.w. i feel the PHR article was by far a better written article than the mustang and ford one. Derrick I liked, now I like alot more. Good...Good MAVERICKS & COMETS are the s%#$. Thanks for being who you are & not changeing. That 245/45/17 front tire is mighty big for a lowered car. I tried that size, no way would it fit.
