Well took my Comet to the track Saturday with the newly installed powerglide trans with pro brake. Best time was 1.84 60ft. 8.15 1/8mile and 12.74 1/4mile at 107 MPH. The preivous best time with my C-4 was 12.35 at 110. I guess now I will have to build A different motor to get my E.T. back.

yes, the 'glide does not like small motors and heavy cars. Well, they will work...but require a very high stall speed. I think I could benefit from using a c4, but the glide is too easy to drive!! Plus, it's WAY more consistent.

now if I could get a good reaction time, I'd be in good shape
