Nope. My 77 dosent have power brakes, so I would say that they came on some mavericks from 74-77.

I've been using my stock 72 master cylinder on front disc for years. Works great.

I bought a brand new 77 Mav non-power disc brake master cylinder from (I think) Advance Auto Parts for somewhere around $30. The brake pedal will ride high if you don't shorten the pushrod.

I would also get a later combination valve that is suited to disc brakes. The earlier one keeps 10 psi of drag on drum brakes, later ones only keep 2 psi of line pressure on disc brakes. I went to a Wilwood adjustable prop valve, but having done that, it seems like overkill. A factory combo valve would probably be fine.

What do you base this on? I have heard this before and have never been able to verify it. I have taken apart a proportioning valve and there are no check valves to maintain any pressure. Considering the total square inches of drum brakes, that would be a lot of static pressure.

I did the front manual disc conversion and used a 74 Maverick MS and my pedal does ride about 1 1/2" higher than my clutch pedal. I've gotten used to it, but it'd be nice to fix it. If I wanted to shorten it I guess I'd have to cut the end attached to the MS...

When I grabbed the Granada spindles I got its prop valve too and I haven't had any stopping issues, the back tires just barely break loose under really hard braking so I think the distribution is right.

I bought an adjustable M/C pushrod so I could make my clutch and brake pedals the exact same height ...

Got any pictures of it? Does the stock one just pop out of the MS if you pull hard enough?
