just found out a major difference between my '72 mav and my '77

    floor pan is waaayyyy different.

I have mopar E body seats (challenger, cuda) in my '72
these were pretty much a drop in... missed factory holes by a 1/4":burnout:

now... am trying to do same with '77
    drivers side is fine
passenger side has a LARGE bulge down side of trans tunnel for
    cat. convertor...

rust free floor is about to see a saws-all :(

any one got a better idea

hate to cut it but I will if I gotta

also... anyone close to manassas va have a parts car that I could hack a piece of floor
    out of ?
want an early car... no cat
    thanks
    Jeff

you could look for bucket seat tracks from a 75-77 maverick/comet(with the bulge) and adapt them to whatever buctet seat you wanted to use.

I have the inner bucket seat track for the pass side, that accommodates the bump. Would gladly trade for an earlier non-cat track of equal condition.
