Hi all! New to the forum and Mavericks but I'm researching for a future track day car build. Having run Mustangs for many years I'm in for something different and the small Maverick seems pretty perfect for our local small and winding tracks. I'm having a hard time finding a proper set of specs for a 2-door V8 Maverick. Does anyone have a link or additional info to what I have found so far? I'm basing it on a 2 door 1972 V8 model. Kerb weight and distribution would be VERY nice to have! Wheelbase 103 in Track front 56.5 in, rear 56.5 in Length 179.4 in Width 70.6 in Height 53 in Kerb weight ? Weight distribution ? Fuel capacity 15.1 US Gal The plan calls for a 2-door V8 with a high revving 331, tricked out Toploader (maybe T5?), 3.00 gears and TrueTrac in the back, 4 discs, dual manual MC, some nice Global West, SPAX and Cobra Automotive suspension parts, 15 or 16" steel wheels with R tyres, stripped interior, fuel cell, cage etc. ALl registered and street legal.
