Off topic glass question.

    I'm redoing a 66 spitfire and the rear window glass on the hard top is to big on the sides for the new gasket. Is there a way to grind the glass down? It maybe tempered glass I'm unsure. Or am I going to have to make a custom gasket of some kind.

    Is the gasket not the right one and too big or is the glass wrong?

    The glass is to long to put it simple. After thinking about it I'm gonna have to cut the gasket down and just use some silicone

    A glass shop can cut it down or even put it on their sander to take it down.
