allright fella's need some input here. im thinkin of getting rid of my 74 mavrick grabber bein its a 6 cylinder, and needs frame fixed and rockers b4 i can even find out if motor needs rebuilt. i found while lookin for a parts car a 1973-75 comet 4 door. now i know 4 door is not what most would want. but, i think it would b fun to make a sleeper out of. it has the original 302 c4 and buckets. needs gas tank and headliner. body straight, frame good, and good floors. 375.00 what do u guys think.thanks for ur help.. jeff

Nothing wrong with the 4 door.

Besides, it makes for more interesting replies to people that ask if you drive a Mustang. "Uh yeah, it's a rare four door Stang"

That's right, you told us to call you crazy!4doors make killer sleepers, just don't dump a bunch of cash into the actual "body",focus on stuff that could later be transfered over to a 2dr later(rear, wheels, motor, trans, etc)

    4 DOORS FOR THE WIN!!
Actually yes, 4 doors RULE! I love my 4 door Comet.
I think the length of the body is PERFECT for top chopping(which is what I am gonna do when I either learn how to weld or get enough money to pay for it) ;)

Buy it. It makes sense. Hard to find them in that good condition. It is worth the motor alone. Buckets to boot! No brainer for me. Heck I would insure it and I could use it as a commuter car. Cheap insurance. I love sleeper cars too.!
