In the process of restoring my 72 V8 Grabber. I'm Doing a factory style restoration and I'm looking at piecing together a exhaust system. From what I've researched the 72 V8 system had a y pipe with a rectangular intermediate resonater and a cylindrical rear exhaust muffler. I was wondering if anyone may have a photo of a original exhaust system and any helpful data that can help me reconstruct one. Are there any available vendors that sell original style muffler components. Is the Y pipe available etc. Any help is well appreciated Thanks Lu

You'd be better off with a full dual exhaust. It won't hurt the value of the car in the slightest.
