package tray questions?

    Hello everyone! I am wondering if there is any type of door that goes over the package tray in the front of my 73 mav LDO? There is this weird square shaped piece of tubular metal that looks as if it's meant to be part of a locking mechanism for a door of some type. Am I supposed to have a door over this tray? Thanks

    There was an aftermarket company that made a glove box door for those trays. Might be that.
