When I drive my maverick and reach 1600 RPMs (and only at 1600), it sounds like the package tray is rattling. Keeping in mind I have 2 speakers on the package tray, is it possible a mount came loose/broke? or maybe it's a shock mount? any ideas? thanks

there are only a couple of brackets holding the tray...lie on your back and check it out! It's harmonic frequency vibration..put some more junk on the tray to weigh it down...
Also make sure all the spark plugs are indexed so as not to have firing irregularalities in the cylinders, that might cause and imbalance and the vibation you are experiencing. If that fails, then replace both of the vortex heterodyne occilators. Check them with a digital dysfunctiometer first of coarse... they always are a source of vibration.
