I spent some time in the hospital while the doctors worked for 6 hours to stop me from bleeding. I have had some on-going challenges with my back and now this. I will not be building any more transmissions and I am trying to get a respected transmission builder (and a friend of mine) to take on my 2-3 flare eliminator kit so it will be available to those who need it.
I may not even be available to refresh transmissions that I have built - which is what I have been busy with most of the fall and winter.
My health has to come first and I have to tell you bleeding for six hours while doctors are trying to get it stopped is enough to change your priorities.
I am definitely taking some time off - I will be stopping by here - maybe not every day but often enough to help out where I can.

Wow that sounds intense. Glad you made out OK. Hopefully they get everything under control for you and things improve. Take it easy and relax. You've earned it.

Paul...even if you aren't physically FIXING transmissions, you can still hang out and fix them vicariously, by telling all of us idiots what we are doing wrong.

Take care of yourself, and get back on your feet!
