Been a little too quiet lately. Lets see where everybody is at with their cars. Is it in pieces or can you drive. I think you can vote more than once

Car is in pieces but by the end of the day, it looks partially there. I call it a mini resto. All interior will be done (rust paint and fresh coat of paint) and hack free. Engine bay will have the shock towers cut and rust free with semi gloss paint. Fenders will be undercoated and primed. Hood will be fixed and retired. New hood will be a cowl induction hood. Small bumper in the back. Spoiler on. Maybe a mini tub (not sure yet) And a new new motor (thats right, 2 news)

All in 9 months in time for the mcci meet.

I am always at "just two more things then ready to paint" stage. :biglaugh:

Until then, runs great and drives like a wildcat!!!

Maverick: Needs paint and a bevy of junk from classicinlines.com ;) but its a solid, dependable driver right now.
Comet: My daily driver right now, I drive the thing everywhere without problems, next on my list of goodies is the Champion radiator and 3.55s or 3.73s with a spool.. Right now it needs two new paassenger doors and some other bodywork as well as some real paint to be presentable at shows.

The Red Comet GT is still at David's in a million pieces and the Green Comet GT is mostly in one piece resembling a car (no trans installed yet), so I voted for both.

I'm sort of between 2 and 3. I have driven it...it looks like a car but still a long way to go.

pretty close race so far, 10 non drivable, 11 driveable. One of the driveable cars has admitted they are DONE. i Don't think I will ever be DONE, and hold for a while, maybe.

Very Drivable, but fuel delivery leaves alot to be desired. It needs new gas tank, fuel pump, and fuel filter due to sitting for 2 years. Also needs plugs and wires and a little carburator tweaking. (parts bought, just not installed)

Body - slight rust on cowl and around drip rail. Trunk needs major rust repair. Need to find Grabber Hood and Spoiler. Everytime I have one line up, the person sells it out from under me. :( (If any of you are holding the guy in Rogersville up on selling me the hood there, I will have to track you down ;) He says if you don't pick it up this weekend it is mine.)

    Interior - paint/dye it black.

Want to do - replace all weather stripping and seals, but don't have to. Considering a cold air intake and 2BBL carb, but those are definitely wants.

Then it is off to paint.

Main thing it needs it TIME - of me to have some to fix all these things. :) :)

OR...there will always be that pristine hood that needs to be cut open to allow a 6-71 blower to poke out the top...
