    I'm watching the 1983 movie Suburbia on youtube right now. 3:42 in on part 3, there appears to be a junked out small-bumper Maverick in the background.

    Now I'm sure it's a Maverick from this scene a little further in the movie. You can clearly see the side profile, the back a little better, and the characters in the movie even appear to be sitting in some high-back seats salvaged from the car.
