Hey guys, how hard is it to rebuild a power steering cylinder? (Is it even called a power steering cylinder or does it go by a different name altogether?) Am I better off buying a new one? I've got a bit of a nasty little leak in my '74 Mav DD, and I'm not liking it.
    Thanks,
    CommieHook

I put the shaft seal kit in mine from AutoKrafters. Wasn't too bad. The original seal was hard as a rock.

I have a brand new power steering control valve rebuild kit, won't be using it as I'm switching to manual steering.

    PM me if interested.

Ive got a rebuild kit if you want it, ill give it to you free. Very easy to rebuild the cylinder. just take it apart and lay the old parts out in order( Clean the cylinder and lube the new parts with Fluid), take the new parts and put them in order. The kit has directions. Im going to a MII system so I dont need the rebuild kit I have.
