Question for mustang II front end guys. I'm thinking about removing the power steering when i install the MII suspension. Did any of you do this, and do you miss it?
I installed a Flaming River manual rack in mine - my Dad had a 1973 Pinto he bought new and I always remembered how you could really feel the road with that manual rack
seems tighter to me. I can pull to the side of the road, hang a left and turn around and not leave the payment on the other side of the road...
I have the RC-106 and when I bought the parts second-hand (still new) the previous owner had already purchased a power rack. So I went with a MODERN power setup. It is VERY effortless. But tight and dry, unlike the stock power setup on mavericks and comets. I would guess that manual would be just fine if you wanted to feel the road better and free up two hoses and an accessory under the hood.
