Power steering or not?

    Question for mustang II front end guys. I'm thinking about removing the power steering when i install the MII suspension. Did any of you do this, and do you miss it?

    I have a RC-107 kit w/manual rack-N-pinion...love it.

    I installed a Flaming River manual rack in mine - my Dad had a 1973 Pinto he bought new and I always remembered how you could really feel the road with that manual rack

    with the RC-107 do you have any turning radius loss? or bump steer concerns?

    seems tighter to me. I can pull to the side of the road, hang a left and turn around and not leave the payment on the other side of the road...:drive: :chirp:

    I have the RC-106 and when I bought the parts second-hand (still new) the previous owner had already purchased a power rack. So I went with a MODERN power setup.

    It is VERY effortless. But tight and dry, unlike the stock power setup on mavericks and comets.

    I would guess that manual would be just fine if you wanted to feel the road better and free up two hoses and an accessory under the hood.

    with my manual rack N pinion I like the positive feel when running over 100+ MPH.
