I found a new power steering pump for my comet on ebay. It looks the same as the one on my inline 6 but the new one says it goes on a 302.

So are they the same pump just different brackets?

They look the same. I just wanted to make sure they are before i spend $30.

I think the fitting for the return hose is pointed a different direction, and the pulleys are definitely different. I'm pretty sure you can use a 6 cyl pump on a 302 and vice versa if you have the correct brackets and pulleys but the return fitting may hit the shock tower on the 302 with the 6 cyl pump.
