I changed out my power steering pump, again and it's whining like crazy. The more I drive it, the louder it gets. I also noticed the fluid was foamy. I'm thinking it's the cheap type F is used. I'm going to change the fluid out to maybe Motorcraft type F. I read somewhere online that Motorcraft is less likely foam up. Is this true ?

Don't believe everything on net, generally foaming means air in system, any quality fluid should be fine. I have Mercon in my Cobra & Amalie type F in Fairlane. Don't remember what's in Comet.

Look at illustration #44, if baffle is out of place fluid will foam badly, had this problem with my Fairlane.
