power to manual steering

    I want to convert power steering to manual steering on a 302 comet. The belt which drives the power steering pump also drives the water pump. How do I get rid of the power steering pump?

    Find a water pump pulley that lines up with the water pump, alternator, and crank pulley. Use the alternator to adjust the tension.

    You can buy that pulley from Mustang suppliers.
