    Hi guys
I had a question on the power break booster in my 1977 maverick. The car was a I6 when i got but I'm dropping in a V8 a 302. My question is all the pics I'm seeing of cars with V8s in them I dont see the BIG break booster that is in mine. I see the master cyclander but not the booster. So my question is with the V8 is there a smaller one or not one at all. See i don't know alot about the fine workings of the engine. In mine the support that goes from the shock tower to the cowl on the driver side is huge and it has a big cut out that the booster and master cyclander fit through. will this still work with the V8 or do I need different parts? Any info any one could give would be great. This is my fisrt rebuild and I want it to be right.

    Thanks MAVMAN77

it should work fine. you'll just need the correct fitting to attach the vac line from the booster to the intake manifold

Here it is on mine. All Mavericks with power disc brakes had the same set-up....regardless of engine.....so it will fit.

Great pic of Craig's! If you only see master cylinder, car has manual brakes, no power assist.
