question on sheet metal and body work

    Ok so 72 maverick sprint. Where can i find, assuming i can find them, lower quarter/fender patches? Would it be that difficult to form my own with sheet metal? it seems like a simple curved piece.

    Any insight?

    You can get the back quarters from ebay, rockauto, an many others. I think they are all made by the same mfg. Fronts will need to be made or off donor car.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Full quarters are available as mentioned above. You can fab your own patch panels to weld in...Its not hard,it just takes some patience and a good eye.And a few tools for working sheet metal...

    And the inner drops you can get on here in the classifieds. Believe his name is Joe. Cant remember his forum name. It used to have a hot girl as an avatar.... thats all I can remember. Go figure.

    Sorry its the inner part of the rear quarter,behind the wheel from the pinch weld up to the trunk area. Real common rust spot.

    its a bit weird how the trunk connects to the quarters like that. ill get pics up sooner or later.
