I think the only difference might be the hose sizes. I had a 71 6 cyl [200] rad in mine before I got my new one. It is a V8, standard cooling. The bottom hose is 1/8" larger on it, the top hoses are the same....
the 250 and 302 shared the same hose fittings i believe, but other than the slightly different hose fittings then yes... they'll swap out
Well I hope it goes well. I need a radiator for my 75. My 73 GT has a new one (bought about 4 years ago and never filled). I just bought this new one for the GT so I can ust the old new one in my 75 so I can make it to Joplin. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...68259&ih=019&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&viewitem=
Hmm... when I swapped my 250 out for a 200 last year, my bottom hose worked fine. I had to swap the thermostat housing off the 250 for the upper hose, the 200 had a smaller outlet.
The auction said low inventory. Looks like they had 1 . I like the way it looks, not angled at the top corners. I also like the non plastic drain cock. He just sent me email saying it should get here in a few days. I'll take pics and elaborate on my thoughts about it then. The price certainly was right . Now to locate a factory fan shroud...or do the elect fan.
He posted another one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-Ro...ryZ33602QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
nope, manual tranny cars wont have the cooling lines in the bottom tank from factory. but i believe all aftermarket radiators are made with them
Thanks Mean, This is what I was thinking. So to answer Blu's question...not all factory Mavericks radiator will not swap if you have an automatic transmission. The manual trans radiator does not a port for the cooling lines. BTW my Griffin radiator does not have these fitting also...or a drain peacock
