Found out during flushing and cleaning that my current rad contained quite a lot "brown" stuff, car has been standing for a while and did not keep cool when idle or light city trafic, planning to swap to a new one, cars a 302 from 70/72, will any aftermarket rad fit in ( summit alu core etc..), do i gain anything by paying extra for a "racy" rad or just clean & refurbish what i got ?, existing rad is not the original one anyhow, i do have an extra 16" electric fan but feel that somethings wrong if cannot keep cool in "standard" traffic, car has a mild cam and holley carb, planning to swap heads to alu in future..
