Is there a difference between 70-72 rear bumpers and 73 ones?? I'm still having an issue with my mockup bumper not fitting up tight and having a 1 1/4 gap between the bumper and rear quarter. My thought is that it might be off a 73 car and not a 72 like I thought it was. My brackets are directly off my 72 parts car but it had no bumpers on it at all. Thanks for the help!!

the only difference between the 70-72 bumpers is holes for the bumber guards.73 reara are the same as the early ones the difference as you pointed out is the 73 brackets push the bumper out away from the body.use your 72 brackets.

yea, if your useing 72 brackets on a 73 bumper it should be fitting on just as a '70-'72 rear bumper would

post some pics if you can
