Has anybody had to replace their stock fiberboard due to sagging? If so, what did you use to replace it? I picked some up at Lowe's and I think it'll work but I don't know...

Is it the same thickness (1/8") ? It should work just fine . There are a couple of threads on here where members replaced that panel....

That panel is also reproduced and offered through places like Auto Krafters and Melvin's. One can even get it precut for 6 x 9 speakers.

I used tempered wall board from Lowes, oughta last forever. Used it to make new inner door panels. too.

It's made of "Masonite" and is reproduced. You can make your own if you still have the original to use as a template.
I found that the pre-cut 6x9 holes do not line up with the factory metal openings underneath. I wish I had gotten one with just sound holes drilled and mounted the speakers under it.
