Rear Shackles

    I noticed my Maverick was not sitting level, I found the right rear shackle to be tight, not moving when vehicle was raised or lowered with a floor jack, the left rear shackle was moving as the vehicle was jacked.

    Should the rear shackles have movement/flexibility?

    They should move as the suspension travels. You may have some rust buildup in the shafts causing it to bind.
