rearend question

    [​IMG][​IMG] Pulled this out from under my 73 comet today. Would someone please tell me what the numbers and letters on the tag are for? Looks to me like(WDW-T 3FC) then (2.79.8 520C). Any of this making sence to you guys. It looks like the front cover has (F14) and 16 cast into it.

    Well I fell like a tool....just found a tread by Sam Mangano that explans all this....:rolleyes:!

    :oops: Thanks Dave. Any suggestions on regearing. Using same 200ci engine, same C4. I thought sence its out I'd go through it. New bearings, seals, etc, etc.

    A set of 3.40 gears would do wonders for your accelleration. You might be able to find a replacement chunk with these in them already.
