I am in the process of removing the heater A/C control panel on my 75 Mav.
Is it easier to remove it by pulling the speedo panel or the steering column?

I would appreciate some guidance on this.

The control panel cover is held in by 5 small "tit's" if you use a small screw driver and start to pry each side equally, it should come out, take it nice and slow, they break easily. Pull the knobs off the control first, that will help. Then the control assembly is screwed to the metal dash with 4 screws (I think)

If you are taking the fan/heat/air cluster out, I have been able to unhook everything and get it out through the speedo/ gauge cluster opening.
