I was on the bus home from school the other day (grrrr only six more months) and I realized, Hey, A Mav would fit quite nicely in here.

Just cut out the back wall, and make it so it fully opens.

Then, take out all the seats and carpet it.

Then make a ramp and a way to fasten the car into the back of the bus.

After you have the car trailering part finished, work on the front half, your personnal mini winabago.

    Think of the advantages:
    -a fully enclosed trailer
-a personal econo lodge for when you go to shows
    -only two axels for tolls

    The possibilities are endless!!!

And you can even paint it all different colors like the Partridge Family ....

    Pretty good idea .....

Well I've never seen them left inclosed, but around here they are kinda popular to the truck pullers they turn the back into a flat bed and dovetail it then move the back door portion forward leaving the passanger compartment about 15' long. I have always toyed with the Idea myself....... Must be your Missouri Blood!!!!!!!!:D

I wasn't actually going to do it. Well not right now anyway. But how awesome would that be. A blacked out bus with flames. Then you pull a mav out of the back of it!!! Maybe when im 28 and rich with my 05 mustang and the big white house on a plantation, I'll do that. In ten years, watch out, I'll be a comin'

I mean hey only the best for the mav right? It could be its own personnal garage when im not at shows too. its heated, air conditioned, well lit, and even carpeted. Ill even have enough room to take a whole tool set.

Oh the times I could have, I could camp with the mav, sleep with the mav, and if I get married and it goes south, I could live with the mav!!! Can we marry cars nowadays? haha;)

    Tull, Jethro Tull

Jethro Tull is original to say the least. Ian, the lead singer is just a crazy rockin out with a flute. There is nothin like Tull.

There is a bus here in VA already converted to hull a car about the size of a Maverick or Comet, it had a Vega in it. No accounting for taste, and yes that is my 02. Any way if someone needs pix'x of how it looks I can get them.

It sounds like a great idea however I've only seen gas powered school buses. I cant imagine what kind of milage you'd get on a long trip but I'll bet it wont be pretty.

    Couldn't you....

...write the expense of converting the bus off as continuing education project?

Speaking of Ian: He sure had some good AquaLUNGs, didn't he! :D lol

Jethro Tull.... He rocks lol. Just kidding the band rocks... extremely progressive music that goes from one movement to another when you least expect it, with multiple changes in meter as well as dynamics. It's an interesting concept. If your tastes lean toward metal, a band called Opeth (as well as another named Tool) has basically put the same basic sense of aproach into their compositions.... Nothing beats Tull.

I must agree with Rick, Todd has some sort of Maverick illness! Todd, don't you know Comets are better? Now a bus to transport Comets would be nice :D Since we're discussing converting things, has anyone seen on the food network this guy who can make anything into a grill? I'd love to take the front end of a Maverick and make it a grill. Lift the hood and cook some burgers :p

Hey Todd send me an email I haven't talked to you since Pennsylvania last year! SingerGurly86@aol.com

I have heard a bit of Tool. They ARE awesome. I have never heard of Opeth before though. Tull is number 1 in my book. You know who I am becoming a bit more interested in is e l p. Not quite the same but I think they are decent. I cant stand all of todays new garbage. Every now and then there is a good song. But for the most part, its crap.

I dont know how this post became a music post BUT I LIKE IT haha

    August 14th I cant wait...
